The first doughnut studio
Good friends were opening a gourmet doughnut shop in Long Beach, California. They each had recently lost loved ones and saw their project as a love letter to the community and to those who had gone before them. It was an honor to be a part of their dream. We chose the name “moonbridge” as a cultural symbol that connects our lives to our ancestors. It also happens to form the perfect doughnut shape. The brand grew with the creative personalities of the founders, taking on a language that was less bakery and more quirky, Wes Anderson art studio.
